Hey, this is Roguestar! I desided to work on a new fic, a Ed,Edd,& Eddy one! I know what your all thinking: THE EDS AND FINAL FANTASY!? I know its werid, but I LOVE that game and the Eds, its a good show! So please read, and tell me what you all think. And please, don't flame me.^-^
Final Fantasy Eds
Chapter 1
It was a beautful summer afternoon at the PeachCreek culdasack. Everyone was out enjoying the day. Sara and Jimmy were playing docter with dolls and stuff animals on Sara's front lawn. Rolf and Kevin were seeing who could throw a football the farrest as Naz watched. And Jonhhy, well Jonhhy was having a conversation with his piece of wood, Plank. Everyone was having fun, well, almost everyone.
~Just outside the culdasack was PeachCreek's garbage dump. There, sitting on the ground were the Eds. They sometimes come to the dump to try to get ideas on how to swindell the other kids out of they money, with is mostly Eddy's plan. Otherwise, they sometimes just go there to hang out. But today, they been at the dump almost all day trying to think of their next big scam.
"AAAAA! I CAN'T COME UP WITH ANYTHING!" Eddy yelled, yanking on the only three hairs on his head. Double-D, the brains of the three, looked at Eddy, rolling his eyes. "Eddy, I doubt you'll think anything if you keep torchering yourself like that." Double-D said. Eddy let go of his hair and gave Double-D the evil eye. "Yeah, well I don't see you coming up with anything sockhead!"
Just before a argument was about to start, they both heared a famlier voice. "EDDY! DOUBLE-D!" Ed, the tallest and rather dumbest of the group, came running up to them,complely covered in garbage. Eddy and Double-D both gave their looks of disguse at their friend. "Ed, get away, you reak!" said Eddy, holding his nose. Double-D did the same and said, "Ed, what in the world have you been doing!" They both realized they haven't seened Ed in the pass couple hours.
"I've been on a treasue hunt!" Ed said with a big goofy smile on his face. "Wantcha find, a brain?"Eddy said sarcasticaly. The fowl smelling Ed stood there for a few moments, staring off into space before giving a answer. "No, I found something even better!" He reached deep into his coat pocket and pulled out want almost looked like a CD player. "I found it under a huge pile of...." "WE DON'T WANT TO KNOW!" Eddy and Double-D said in unison.
Eddy took the thing from Ed and began to look it over. "Its just a piece of junk." He said with a scowel on his face. Double-D on the other hand looked it it and said,"Wantever it is, it looks like theres some parts missing." "Want did I tell ya, JUNK." said Eddy.
Ed suddenly perked up. "Oh, wait!" He said, reaching into his other pocket and pulling out a couple wires, a fancy looking game paddle with two joysticks and a D-pad, a book to some video game, and some small rectengale shape thing. He then just dropped them all on the ground and looked at his friends, who were some what shock of how much room he had in those pockets of his.
The two Eds looked at their friend's findings on the ground. Eddy looked at Double-D. "Well genius, what is it?" Double-D took the "CD player" from Eddy and carefully looked it over. He then noticed a round button on the right side of it. When he pushed it, a lit popped up on the device, and inside was a CD rom disk. He then looked down at the other stuff. He kneeled down and begain to assemble whatever it was Ed found.
About five mintunes later, whatever it was, was all put together. The brainy Ed looked at once more, and then smiled. "I got it!" He said rather cheerfuly. "Its about time." Eddy said. Double-D stood up and cleared his throat. "Gentlemen, what we have here is a video game system, a PS1 to be exsact. What I don't understand is why would anyone what to just toss a perfectly good device like this. As you can see, there's a game still inside it."
"I'll tell you why." Eddy said. "Its problubly broken!"
Suddenly, a smile grew on Ed's face. "VIDEO GAMES!!" He shouted. "ALL RIGHT! We'll go to my house and see if it works!" The big Ed snached the PS1 and ran out the dump. "ED! GET BACK HERE!" Eddy shouted. "I agree with Ed, Eddy.We're obviously not getting anything done here." Double-D said exiting the dump. Eddy followed, grumbing under his breath.
~At Ed's home in his room, Ed and Eddy watch Double-D as he was hooking up the PS1 to Ed's T.V.. "I'm almost done." He said. Eddy sat on Ed's bed with a scowel. "This is a tolal waste of time!" said Eddy. Double-D just ignored his friend's conmend as he conneted one last wire. "There, its all hooked up." He said.
"Hey guys, look at this!" Ed said. He was looking though the book he found with the PS1. The book was a guide to a game called, "Final Fantasy 7". He ran up to Double-D and asked, "Double-D, does this book go to the game?" Double-D looked at the book, then opened the lit on the system. The CD rom inside had the same title on it. "Why, yes it is Ed." He answered. "Cool! Lets play!" Ed said grabbing the paddle and ploping himself on the floor.
"Uh, Ed? Do you know now to play it?" Double-D asked. "Yeah, the book told me." Ed answered. "You can read?" Eddy said. "EDDY! That wasn't nice!" said Double-D. Ed pushed the ON button on the system. On the T.V. screen, the PS1 symbol came up. "Its working!" Double-D said. "It is?" Eddy asked, a little surpuried. He hopped off the bed and walked over next to Ed. "Move over Ed, I want see want this game is all about."
~About a hour passed. The Eds were still playing. So far, they figured out that that weird looking rectagale thing Ed found was a memory card. Whoever had the game before already had a file saved on it. Also, they found out that the game had three disks, but disk 3 was the only disk in the system. But it didn't matter, because the saved file was for disk 3.
"Hey, my eyes are starting to get heavy." Eddy said and then yawning. "Yeah, me too." said Double-D tiredly. Ed, the other hand, was still hooked. "Yo monobrow, I think its time to call it quits." Eddy said to Ed. "Awwwww, but its just getting good." Ed whined. Eddy got up and streched. "Look lumpy,I don't know about you, but I'm going home." "Same here." said Double-D. Ed looked at his friends with puppy dogs eyes, wishing thier would stay just a bit longer. Eddy looked at him and sighed. "Ed, we'll play more tomorrow, okay!". Big Ed perked up a bit. "Okay Eddy." He said, reaching over to turn off the game.
He pushed the OFF button, but nothing happened. He pushed it again, the game STILL wouldn't shut off. "Uh, guys?" He said. "The game doesn't what to quit." The other two Eds, who were just heading out the door, turned and looked at Ed. "Want do you mean it don't want to quit?" Eddy asked. "I pushed the OFF button, but its not going off." Ed explained. "Ummm, maybe the screen frozed." said Double-D. He went over to the system and pressed the buttons on the paddle. Still nothing. "Oh great, Ed, want did you do?" Eddy asked. "Nothing." He answered.
Double-D fiddled with the PS1 for a good ten mintunes. "We're going to have to unplug it." He said reaching to pull the cord.
But before he could, the screen suddenly flashed so bright, it lit up the whole room. "HEY! WHATS GOING ON!" Eddy yelled. "My T.V. never did this before!" Ed said, who was a bit scared. Then, in another bright flash, the Eds blacked out. When the light disappeared, they were gone.
