Hey! This is Roguestar! After getting three really good reviews, I wiped up chapter two for ya all! A few things before reading on, there is some spelling boo-boos, and a quick message for RuneToothSaber: Thanks for that great review. Just to let you know, this crossover is going to be alittle different then the others. You'll see what I mean. I just hope I don't disappoint you.Anyway, on with chapter two!
Final Fantasy Eds
Chapter 2
".......Ooooooooohh, my aching head." Eddy said coming out of it. He layed on the ground, eyes closed, trying to think of what in the heck just happened. He suddenly felt a gust of wind breeze on his face. "Hey, Ed..shut the window." He groaned. But Ed didn't answer. "Ed, I said..." He suddenly paused when he felt the ground under him. "What the.. GRASS?" He finally opened his eyes to see a clear blue sky above him. "How did we end up outside?!" He said shockingly. He sat up and put his hand to his head. "Man, I feel like I got hit in the head with a hammer." He looked around to see where he was. He was in a huge field. And to make things even weirder, Ed and Double-D were nowhere in sight. "Hey Ed! Double-D! Are you guys alright!? Were are ya!?" Eddy shouted across the field.
To his relef, he heared them calling from far behind him. "Hey Eddy!" Ed yelled running towards him. "Are you alright Eddy?!" Double-D asked following Ed.
"Yeah, I okay. Man, I'm I gald to see you g...." Eddy suddenly cut short his sentince when he noticed something different with his friends. They were wearing completely different clothes then before!
Instand of Ed's usnal long green coat and red and white striped shirt underneth and big baggy jeans, he was now wearing a sleeveless blue turtleneck sweater with VERY baggy pants that went all the way up to the bottom of his chest! The pants were held with a big bent with a weird looking symbol on it. Plus, he was wearing gloves and combat boots!
Double-D's get up however, was even stranger. He still had his black tute on his head, but instend of a long red shirt with jean shorts, he had black jeans and a black shirt. He also wore a long red cape that covered his shoulders and neck. The cape was fasend together with metal buckles. He too had gloves and boots on. The boots went up to his knees, and they had metal on the tips of the toes. And on his right hand, he had a small fingerless glove on, but on his left hand, he had a glove that looked like a metal claw! And to top everything off, he was wearing a red bandana around his forehead. He looked, somewhat, creepy.
Eddy was shocked and confused all at the same time. He jumped up and just stared at his friend's new woredrobe. After about a good minutie of staring, Ed came up and started poking Eddy on the head saying, "Eddy? Hello, earth to Eddy, come in Eddy."
Eddy then suddenly snapped out of it. "What the heck are you two wearing?!" He asked. "Cool, uh Eddy?" Ed said looking down at his werid new clothes. Eddy turned to look at his other oddly dressed friend. "Double-D, you looked like something out of a horror movie." He said sightly chuckling.
Double-D gazed at his new outfit. "I must adment, it is very strange. When Ed and I both woke up, we were wearing these odd clothes. We then noticed you were not with us, and so we came looking for you, and...." Suddenly, Ed interuped. "Eddy's new clothes are cool too!" "What?" Eddy said confused.
He looked down to see that he too was wearing a completely new outfit! He was now wearing a white shirt with a blue jacket with lots of pockets. He had dark green jeans on, and they too had alot of pockets. Like the others, he too had boots and gloves on. And for a finishing touch, he had a white scruff around his neck.
He too was a bit surpuriued by his new look. "Well, that lest I don't look as weird as you two." He said admering the blue jacket. "But who gave us these clothes?"
"Your question is as good as my, Eddy." Double-D said. "But the more important question is, where are we?"
The Eds all looked around their current location. The field was indeed very large. On one side of it, there were monutnes about a mile away. On the other side, there was a another field, a much less grassier one.
"How did we all wined up in the middle of nowhere?" Eddy asked. "Thats yet another good question." Double-D said a bit worried. "What do you think Ed? Ed?"
As usanal, Ed wasn't lisening. He was too busy looking at the clouds. "That one looks like a jawbreaker, and that looks the buttered toast I had for breakfast this morning..." He went on and on. "OH! THERES A CHICKEN CLOUD!"
"ED!" Eddy yelled. The not so bright Ed turned and looked at his friends. "Quit fooling around Ed! We need to figure out where we are and how to get back home." Eddy said. "Eddy is right." Double-D said. "Lets put our heads together and think of a way out of this situation."
"Um, okay, but don't we need some glue for that?" Ed said. Double-D and Eddy just shook their heads and sighed.
Suddenly, Ed noticed something on the other side of the less grassier field. He sqint his eyes to see a what looked like a small farm house. "Hey guys! I see a house!" "WHERE?" The two other boys asked. Ed pointed her finger at the direction. "Waaaaaay over there." He said. Eddy spotted the house Ed was talking about. "All right! Good work monobrow!" He said patting Ed on the back.
"Yes, well done Ed." Double-D said. "We'll go to that house, and ask them where we are."
As the three Eds headed for the nearby house, they have to go across the almost grassless field. Far on the other side of that field, a long, strange shadow moved across the plain.
~About a half hour has passed as the three boys kept walking, already halfway across the field. However, Ed was begenning to get on Eddy's nerves.
"Eddy, are we there yet?" Ed asked a bit tired.
"No Ed, you just asked me that five seconds ago!" Eddy said.
(Five seconds later) "Are we there yet?"
"No."
(Five more seconds later) "Are we there yet?"
"NO!"
(Yet, ANOTHER five seconds later) "Are we there yet?"
"SHUT UP ED!!!"
"I hate to interupe you two..." Double-D said covering his ears from Eddy's yelling. "But I just thought of something." "What else is new." Eddy said rather sarcasticly.
"I'll pertend I didn't hear that." said Double-D. "Anyway, as I was saying, do you both still remember those lights we saw in Ed's room?"
Eddy and Ed both paused for a moment and thought. Eddy's eyes suddenly perked up. "Hey yeah, I remember now." He said. "That light...it looked like it came for Ed's T.V.. Man, did that freak me out."
"Eddy, don't you remember what we were all doing before that light?" Double-D asked.
"Duh, we were playing that game Ed found at the dump." Eddy answered. "Whats your point?"
"Don't you get it?!" Double-D shouted.
"Get what?! Ed, do you understand what sockhead is talking about?"
Once again, Ed wasn't paying attention. He was looking up at the sky again. When he didn't answer, Eddy immteadly knew that what he was doing. Without turning around to look at him, he said, "Ed, we don't care about your clouds, OKAY?"
"Eddy.....?" Ed said in a nerveous tone.
"Ed, forget the stupid clouds!" Eddy snapped.
"B-But Eddy......." He said in now a more scared tone.
Eddy finally give up. "Alright Ed, what do you see?" He said in a "like I care" tone of voice, still not facing him.
Ed forced out the word,"Sn-sn-snake"
"Oh, a snake cloud." Eddy said still not caring.
Double-D turned to see want Ed was so interested about. His eyes suddenly grew wide."Thats noT WHAT HE MEANS EDDY!!!" Double-D yelled.
Eddy finally turned to see what was so important. His face immdeitly turned ghostly white at the sight of a HUGE monster snake, well over three stories high!
